CHESHIRE COMMUNITY THEATER PRESENTS 2009 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD TO MICHAEL NOEL

 

     Kim Wantroba, Cheshire Community Theater Vice President, presented the 2009 Alvah J. Root Memorial Scholarship check to Cheshire resident and recent Choate Rosemary Hall graduate Michael Noel at the group's potluck dinner held at the home of Jane Bate on Wednesday, July 22nd.    Michael will be attending George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a double major in Music and Economics in September.  The Cheshire Community Theater Scholarship Committee selects one local graduating high school senior to receive the scholarship each year from the applications submitted to the group.  Applicants must live or attend school in Cheshire and be pursuing higher education in theater, music, dance or a related field.
