CHESHIRE COMMUNITY THEATER PRESENTS 2007 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD TO CHRIS JASINSKI

 

     Adam V.S. Abbate, Cheshire Community Theater Vice President, presented the 2007 Cheshire Community Theater Scholarship check to recent Cheshire High School graduate Christopher Jasinski at the group's annual picnic held at the home of Kim and Mark Wantroba on Sunday, June 24th.  Chris is the son of Susan and Dale Jasinski of Cheshire.  He will be studying percussion performance at The Hartt School of The University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut, in September.  The Cheshire Community Theater Scholarship Committee selects one local graduating high school senior to receive the scholarship each year from the applications submitted to the group.  Applicants must live or attend school in Cheshire and be pursuing higher education in theater, music, dance or a related field.

 

 

CHESHIRE COMMUNITY THEATER MARCHES IN THE

2008 MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

 

Cheshire Community Theater will be marching at the Memorial Day Parade on Sunday, May 25th. To commemorate our 55th anniversary, we are looking for a (approx.) 1953 classic car to lead our group.

 CHESHIRE COMMUNITY THEATER PICNIC

 

We are pleased to announce that on Sunday June 29th we will be holding our annual CCT picnic.   A 1pm board meeting will be followed at 2pm by a general membership picnic.  Anyone interested in learning more about the group or becoming a member is welcome.  The picnic will be at Kim Wantroba’s house at 1804 Old Waterbury Rd, Cheshire.  Call 250-8313 for info/directions.
